Vintage French Cutlery 12 persons

This wonderful vintage French Cutlery set consists of 12 Dinner Forks and 12 Dinner Spoons. The set is Silver plated and beautifully adorned on both sides. The length of each Fork and Spoon is 21.5 cm and the set weighs 1918 grms. Postage from France included.

In the 18th century and before, Cutlery sets were usually given as a wedding present. Mostly Knives were not included in the sets as it was considered bad luck. That is why you often see Knives in boxes separately in antique or vintage shops. I have a few Knife sets in my shop that would complement this set beautifully.

Postage is getting dearer and unfortunately a big chunk of the sell price goes to the postal services. It is always better to club items so the freight can be combined. Let me know if you are interested in more than one item and I will re-calculate the freight for you.
