This gorgeous French Alabaster Statue of Maria and Child has such a great patina. Through age – dating back to the 1920’s – the Alabaster has acquired a soft ivory / dark beige colour. The Statue is very detailed with the robe flowing so nicely and the details of the hands and feet are truly stunning. On the base there are 2 beautiful faces of Angels. Size: h 45cm, base dia 13cm.
